Two of St. Louis' best bands - Magnolia Summer and Love Experts -- are playing early, so make sure you make it out to catch them. I will certainly be there. Magnolia Summer has also just released a brand new CD called From Driveways Lost View, and I can't recommend it enough. It's got a little more kick to it than their debut CD, Levers and Pulleys, which I am also a big fan of. There are a few more electric guitars and some quicker tempos. So go out tomorrow catch a bunch of good live music and buy their new CD. Here's some new songs and an old song to convince you:
Magnolia Summer - Once in a While
Magnolia Summer - Summer Moon
Here's a Love Experts song:
Love Experts - Cuba Street
Here are some songs from the other bands playing:
Margot & the Nuclear So & So's - Skeleton Key
Margot & the Nuclear So & So's - Quiet as a Mouse
Mason Jennings - Ulysses
Mellowdrone - Fashionable Uninvited
Mellowdrone - Oh My
