Southside Rocks Off!

The Bandwitth Collective presents Southside Rocks Off! 2 on Saturday, November 25, 2006.

Southside Rocks Off 2 is a benefit "show of shows" in support of your community radio station 88.1 FM KDHX. The fundraiser is also to promote an up and coming nonprofit organization called Band With Collective that will represent local artists and musicians finding new and creative ways to promote St. Louis Culture.

Wristbands are $10, but you don't need one to enter the venues. All proceeds from the wristbands will be donated to KDHX, who helped make this event possible. Show your wristband and you will get deals on food, drinks and all sorts of other things at participating venues. 40 bands are playing for free to help keep community radio on the air. Please come out and buy a wristband to show your support. Also, Southside Rocks Off t-shirts will be available for purchases at the locations the wrist bands are sold. Come out and support your local artists!

Tight Pants Syndrome

In other local music news, Tom from the Tight Pants Syndrome informed me that they are looking for a new female vocalist. So, if you are a female, can sing, and play the keyboard... and live in St. Louis, contact the band via their myspace page. But, I suppose you should know the songs before you tryout, so here's an mp3 for you:
